What is an Affiliate Link?

An Affiliate Link is essentially a web address (pointing to any page within AimGlobalProducts.com) that you want people to visit, and because your Affiliate Link includes your Tracking Script, which identifies you as the referrer, the Affiliate Program can associate you to the resulting sales so you can earn due commissions.

Parts of an Affiliate Link

An Affiliate Link is not as such without being complete of  its parts. So when it’s not a complete Affiliate Link, it’s impossible for the Affiliate Program to associate you to the resulting sales, therefore you will not earn any due commission.

So make sure your Affiliate Link is complete of it’s parts!

There are basically 2 parts that makes up an Affiliate Link: 

1. Core Web Address URL – is a web address pointing to any page within AimGlobalProducts.com. It is where you want people to visit. It can be a product page or an article page (as in the example above). Preferably, you want to point people to a page where there is an Optin Form, or leading to it, so that the email addresses of  your prospects can be captured for automatic follow-up messages. 
2. Your Tracking Script – is actually a computer command (starts with “?tracking=“) that tells the browser of your prospects to put a piece of information (a cookie) in their viewing devices (i.e. smart phone, tablet, computer) so that it can be fetched later in the event of a resulting sale.
   Looking at the example above, the Tracking Script is “?tracking=mYaFFc0d3“. If we translate this to a human language it says, “Hey! There is a cookie named ‘tracking’ and its value is mYaFFc0d3“. Being informed of this, the device of your prospect will store a cookie within it’s memory, naming it as “tracking” and will designate a value equal to “mYaFFc0d3”. Once stored, it can be fetched for later use by AimGlobalProducts.com (the website) for associating an eventual sale from that device.
   As you may already notice, the value “mYaFFc0d3” is actually an Affiliate ID. Your own Affiliate ID is of course different from our example here. The website will use this Affiliate ID to identify the Affiliate who will get paid commission from the associated successful sales.

Creating Your Affiliate Links

Creating your Affiliate Links is very simple. It only include 2 steps and a few sub-steps.

Step 1: Copy Your Tracking Script

A Tracking Script is actually a piece of code that you will need to add at the end of the web address URL that you will share to people. Without this Tracking Script, it’s impossible to associate you to any resulting sale.

Here are the steps to copy your Tracking Script:

1. Login to your Affiliate account at https://aimglobalproducts.com.
2. Scroll down the page, under the “Affiliate” section, find and click the link: “Affiliate Tracking” .
3. Let’s say for this tutorial, your Tracking Script is: ?tracking=mYaFFc0d3. Right-click on your Tracking Script.
4. Choose “Copy” option. Your Tracking Script is going to be pasted in the next step to create your Affiliate Link.

Step 2: Create Your Affiliate Link

The steps here include (1) choosing a page within AimGlobalProducts.com website that you would like to share, (2) get it’s web address URL so you can (3) append your Tracking Script (making it as your Affiliate Link), and then (4) copy it as a whole so you can paste it for sharing, on social networks like Facebook.

Here are the steps to create your Affiliate Link:

1. Find an article here (this website) that you will want to share, and see its web address URL in the browser bar.
   For example, the article “The AIMGLOBAL Phenomenon” is at web address URL:

   https://aimglobalproducts.com/articles/who-is-aimglobal/

2. Complete your Affiliate Link by pasting your Affiliate Script at the end of the web address URL. You do this by doing a right-click at the end of the web address URL and choosing “Paste“. So in the example web address URL above, your complete Affiliate Link would be:

   https://aimglobalproducts.com/articles/who-is-aimglobal/?tracking=mYaFFc0d3

3. Highlight your complete Affiliate Link URL. You can do this by right-click and choosing “Select All“
4. Right-click (again) your complete Affiliate Link URL and choose “Copy” so that you can just paste it for the next steps, instead of typing it.

How to Make Sure Your Affiliate Links will Work!

Your online sales commissions relies heavily on your Affiliate Links, therefore you should make sure that your Affiliate Links are actually correct and valid. It’s really silly if you will be careless in creating your Affiliate Links and not make sure it works, because you could be just wasting your time and effort unnecessarily.

So here are important rules that you should follow to make sure that Your Affiliate Links will work:

1. Make sure that there are no spaces in your Affiliate Links.
   For example:

   This will not work:
   https://aimglobalproducts.com/articles/who-is-aimglobal/ ?tracking=mYaFFc0d3

   This will work:
   https://aimglobalproducts.com/articles/who-is-aimglobal/?tracking=mYaFFc0d3

2. Make sure that there are no repeating “?“ in your Affiliate Links. If there is already an existing “?” in the Core Web Address URL, you should replace the “?” in your Tracking Script with “&“.
   For example:

   This will not work:
   https://aimglobalproducts.com/index.php?route=common/home?tracking=mYaFFc0d3

   This will work:
   https://aimglobalproducts.com/index.php?route=common/home&tracking=mYaFFc0d3

3. Make sure your Tracking Script is always ahead of “#“ in your Affiliate Links. If there is an existing “#” in the Core Web Address URL, you should paste your Tracking Script in front of it.
   For example:

   This will not work:
   https://aimglobalproducts.com/articles/agpap-tutorials/#lessons?tracking=mYaFFc0d3

   This will work:
   https://aimglobalproducts.com/articles/agpap-tutorials/?tracking=mYaFFc0d3#lessons

4. Make sure your Core Web Address URL is only from AimGlobalProducts.com website. Your Tracking Script is not a property of other websites, therefore they cannot store a cookie on behalf of AimGlobalProducts.com website.
   For example:

   This will not work:
   https://www.facebook.com/aimglobalproducts?tracking=mYaFFc0d3

   This will work:
   https://aimglobalproducts.com/articles/?tracking=mYaFFc0d3

Test Your Affiliate Link!
Before posting your Affiliate Link you should try it first. If you get a “404 Page Not Found” error then your Affiliate Link has an error and should be corrected immediately.

When you login to your Affiliate Account, here’s what your Affiliate Dashboard looks like:

1. Straight away you will see your Full Name and the Balance of your earned commissions.
2. Edit your account information – is where you can modify or update your personal details, such as your First Name, Last Name, E-mail and Telephone.
3. Change your password – is where you can modify your existing password.
4. Affiliate Information – is where you can modify or update details such as your Web Site, Tax ID and details of your preferred Payment Method.
5. Customer Account – is where you can go back to your Customer Account dashboard.
6. Custom Affiliate Tracking Code – or simply called “Affiliate Tracking,” is where you can create your Affiliate Links.
7. View your transaction history – is where you can view the transaction history related to your earned commissions. It is also where you can transfer your Affiliate Earnings to your Customer Account so you can use the money to buy products from the eShop.

Although both Affiliate Account and Customer Account share the same Dashboard page in AimGlobalProducts.com website, they are different because:

1. You use your Affiliate Account to “promote” the website to earn sales commissions.
2. On the other hand, you use your Customer Account to “purchase” products from the website.

One thing you should also know is that you can transfer your earned commissions from your Affiliate Account into your Customer Account so you can use the money to purchase products.

For those who are curious about AIM Global business, this post hopes to clear out any confusion in the differences between an Affiliate and an AIM Global Distributor. In addition, I have included in the comparison an AIM Tycoons group member.

The Affiliate

An Affiliate is a person with an approved affiliate account in AimGlobalProducts.com online shop, and although as it is the case, is not really an associate member of AIM Global Inc. (the main company). Therefore the Affiliate can only promote products from said online shop to earn sales commissions, but has no resell rights in the products, therefore can only do the promoting of the products by sharing affiliate links.

AimGlobalProducts.com is just an independent distributor for AIM Global Inc.

The AIM Global Distributor

An AIM Global Distributor is a person who is an independent business associate for AIM Global Inc. A person can be an AIM Global Distributor only when he has purchased a Global Package and completed the registration process in AIM Global Inc.’s DTC website. The AIM Global Distributor has Resell Rights to AIM Global products to retail it directly to the customers from which he can earn retail profits. The AIM Global Distributor also can earn several type of commissions in accordance to the set-out Marketing Plan.

In general, an AIM Global Distributor can earn:

1. Retail Profits from directly selling AIM Global Products
2. Referral Commissions by directly recruiting for new Distributors
3. Residual Commissions from product re-orders and shares from the referral commissions of his down-lines

The AIM Tycoons Group Member

An AIM Tycoons Group Member is basically an AIM Global Distributor who is registered under the AIM Tycoons Group. The AIM Tycoons member can use the Affiliate Program of AimGlobalProducts.com to share links (1) in promoting the products to earn sales commissions, and (2) recruit new AIM Global distributors globally to earn all the other commissions.

Do you have an Existing eShop Customer Account?

The steps to activating your Affiliate Account depends on whether you already have an existing eShop Customer Account or not.

As you would notice, an Affiliate Account is different from an eShop Customer Account. Basically, you use an Affiliate Account to “promote” the eShop site to get sales commissions, where as an eShop Customer Account you use it to “purchase” products from the eShop site. Although these accounts are different, they share one Dashboard where you have the option to transfer your affiliate earnings to your eShop Customer Account so you can use it to purchase products from the eShop site.

Activating your free Affiliate Account

There are 2 ways to activate your  free Affiliate Account, which all depends whether you already have an eShop Customer Account. 

1. Activation inside your existing eShop Customer Account
2. Or activation by registering a free eShop Customer Account

Option 1:
Activation via Your Existing eShop Customer Account

If you already have an eShop Customer account, this option is for you. Otherwise, go to “Option 2” section.

1. Make sure you have already filled-up the Affiliate Account application form so that you will receive important training materials regularly.
2. Get approved. You will receive the message in your email.
3. Login to your eShop Customer Account at
   https://aimglobalproducts.com/index.php?route=account/login
4. Scroll down the “My Account” page to the “Affiliate Account” section.
5. Click “Create Affiliate account“.
6. Click “OK” on the pop-up message.

Option 2:
Activation by Registering an Eshop Customer Account

Don’t have an eShop Customer account yet? No problem! This option is for you.

1. Make sure you have already filled-up the Affiliate Account application form so that you will receive important training materials regularly.
2. Get approved. You will receive the message in your email.
3. Register a free eShop Customer Account at
   https://aimglobalproducts.com/index.php?route=account/register
4. Fill-up the registration form.
5. On the registration form make sure that:
   (1) there is a check mark on “Also I would like to open an Affiliate account” check box.
   (2) you have entered the CAPTCHA code correctly as displayed.
   (3) there is a check mark on “I have read and agree to the Privacy Policy” check box.
   
6. Click “CONTINUE” button.
