What is an Affiliate Link?<\/h2>\n

An Affiliate Link is essentially a web address (pointing to any page within AimGlobalProducts.com) that you want people to visit, and because your Affiliate Link includes your Tracking Script, which identifies you as the referrer, the Affiliate Program can associate you to the resulting sales so you can earn due commissions.<\/p>\n

Parts of an Affiliate Link<\/h3>\n

An Affiliate Link is not as such without being complete of\u00a0 its parts. So when it’s not a complete Affiliate Link, it’s impossible for the Affiliate Program to associate you to the resulting sales, therefore you will not earn any due commission.<\/p>\n

So make sure your Affiliate Link is complete of it’s parts!<\/p>\n

There are basically 2 parts that makes up an Affiliate Link:\u00a0<\/p>\n

  1. Core Web Address URL<\/strong> – is a web address pointing to any page within<\/strong> AimGlobalProducts.com. It is where you want people to visit. It can be a product page or an article page (as in the example above). Preferably, you want to point people to a page where there is an Optin Form, or leading to it, so that the email addresses of\u00a0 your prospects can be captured for automatic follow-up messages.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  2. Your Tracking Script<\/strong> – is actually a computer command (starts with “?tracking=<\/strong>“) that tells the browser of your prospects to put a piece of information (a cookie) in their viewing devices (i.e. smart phone, tablet, computer) so that it can be fetched later in the event of a resulting sale.
    \nLooking at the example above, the Tracking Script is “?tracking=mYaFFc0d3<\/strong>“. If we translate this to a human language it says, “Hey! There is a cookie named ‘tracking’ and its value is mYaFFc0d3<\/strong>“. Being informed of this, the device of your prospect will store a cookie within it’s memory, naming it as “tracking” and will designate a value equal to “mYaFFc0d3”. Once stored, it can be fetched for later use by AimGlobalProducts.com (the website) for associating an eventual sale from that device.
    \nAs you may already notice, the value “mYaFFc0d3” is actually an Affiliate ID. Your own Affiliate ID is of course different from our example here<\/strong>. The website will use this Affiliate ID to identify the Affiliate who will get paid commission from the associated successful sales.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Creating Your Affiliate Links<\/h2>\n

    Creating your Affiliate Links is very simple. It only include 2 steps and a few sub-steps.<\/p>\n

    Step 1: Copy Your Tracking Script<\/h3>\n

    A Tracking Script is actually a piece of code that you will need to add at the end of the web address URL that you will share to people. Without this Tracking Script, it’s impossible to associate you to any resulting sale<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    Here are the steps to copy your Tracking Script:<\/p>\n

    1. Login<\/a> to your Affiliate account at https:\/\/aimglobalproducts.com<\/a>.<\/li>\n
    2. Scroll down the page, under the “Affiliate<\/strong>” section, find and click<\/strong> the link: “Affiliate Tracking<\/strong>” .<\/li>\n
    3. Let’s say for this tutorial, your Tracking Script is: ?tracking=mYaFFc0d3<\/span>. Right-click<\/strong> on your Tracking Script.<\/li>\n
    4. Choose “Copy<\/strong>” option. Your Tracking Script is going to be pasted in the next step to create your Affiliate Link.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Step 2: Create Your Affiliate Link<\/h3>\n

      The steps here include (1<\/strong>) choosing a page within AimGlobalProducts.com website that you would like to share, (2<\/strong>) get it’s web address URL so you can (3<\/strong>) append your Tracking Script (making it as your Affiliate Link), and then (4<\/strong>) copy it as a whole so you can paste it for sharing, on social networks like Facebook.<\/p>\n

      Here are the steps to create your Affiliate Link:<\/p>\n

      1. Find an article here<\/a>\u00a0(this website) that you will want to share, and see its web address URL in the browser bar.
        \nFor example, the article “The AIMGLOBAL Phenomenon” is at web address URL:<\/p>\n

      2. Complete your Affiliate Link by pasting your Affiliate Script at the end of the web address URL. You do this by doing a right-click<\/strong> at the end of the web address URL and choosing “Paste<\/strong>“. So in the example web address URL above, your complete Affiliate Link would be:\n
        https:\/\/aimglobalproducts.com\/articles\/who-is-aimglobal\/<\/span>?tracking=mYaFFc0d3<\/span><\/span><\/code><\/pre>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Highlight your complete Affiliate Link URL. You can do this by right-click<\/strong> and choosing “Select All<\/strong>“<\/li>\n
      4. Right-click<\/strong> (again) your complete Affiliate Link URL and choose “Copy<\/strong>” so that you can just paste it for the next steps, instead of typing it.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        How to Make Sure Your Affiliate Links will Work!<\/h3>\n
        Your online sales commissions relies heavily on your Affiliate Links, therefore you should make sure that your Affiliate Links are actually correct and valid. It’s really silly if you will be careless in creating your Affiliate Links and not make sure it works, because you could be just wasting your time and effort unnecessarily.<\/p>\n
        So here are important rules that you should follow to make sure that Your Affiliate Links will work:<\/p>\n
          \n
        1. Make sure that there are no spaces<\/span> in your Affiliate Links.
          \nFor example:<\/p>\n
          This will not work:<\/span>\r\nhttps:\/\/aimglobalproducts.com\/articles\/who-is-aimglobal\/ ?tracking=mYaFFc0d3<\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n
          This will work:<\/span>\r\nhttps:\/\/aimglobalproducts.com\/articles\/who-is-aimglobal\/?tracking=mYaFFc0d3<\/span><\/span><\/pre>\n<\/li>\n
        2. Make sure that there are no repeating “?<\/span>“<\/span> in your Affiliate Links. If there is already an existing “?<\/span>” in the Core Web Address URL, you should replace the “?”<\/span> in your Tracking Script with “&<\/span>“.

        3. Make sure your Tracking Script is always ahead of “#<\/span>“<\/span> in your Affiliate Links. If there is an existing “#<\/span>” in the Core Web Address URL, you should paste your Tracking Script in front of it.

        4. Make sure your Core Web Address URL is only from AimGlobalProducts.com website.<\/span> Your Tracking Script is not a property of other websites, therefore they cannot store a cookie on behalf of AimGlobalProducts.com website.

          Test Your Affiliate Link!<\/strong>
          \nBefore posting your Affiliate Link you should try it first. If you get a “404 Page Not Found” error then your Affiliate Link has an error and should be corrected immediately.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
